Braskem informs that the Company and its executives obtained the following positions in the 2015 Institutional Investor ranking for Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Petrochemicals sector in Latin America:

- Best Investor Relations: Braskem (3rd place by Sell Side analysts)
- Best CEO: Carlos Fadigas (3rd place by Sell Side analysts)

The Institutional Investor magazine elects annually the "Latin America Executive Team Ranking", based on a survey with over 800 investors and market analysts (from Brazil and abroad).

Transparency Trophy from the National Association of Finance, Administration and Accounting Executives (Anefac)

In September 2014, Braskem received, for the sixth time, the Transparency Trophy from the National Association of Finance, Administration and Accounting Executives (Anefac), as one of the ten most transparent companies in Brazil, in the category of listed company and gross revenue above R$5 billion. The award recognized the quality of Braskem's disclosure practices and confirmed the commitment to transparency and respect that underpins its relationship with investors, clients, suppliers and the general public.

The Capital Market Professionals and Investors Association (APIMEC) recognized Braskem's public meeting with analysts and investors held on February 19 as one of the ten best meetings of 2013 sponsored by the São Paulo chapter of APIMEC. The selection of the best meetings is conducted by a qualified jury oriented by the tabulation of the evaluations made by investment professionals at the end of each APIMEC SP meeting.

In June 2011, Braskem was selected by the Brazilian Association of Publicly Traded Companies (Abrasca) as the company that most created value. Braskem created value of 38.8%.

In June 2010, Braskem was selected by the Brazilian Association of Publicly Traded Companies (Abrasca) as the company that most created value in the Oil & Gas, Chemical & Petrochemical sector in the period from 2007 to 2009.

Best M&A in 2010

The acquisition of the Quattor assets led Braskem to receive, in 2010, the best M&A of the year award sponsored by the prominent financial periodical Latin Finance.

In recognition of its commitment to sustainability, Braskem was one of the 20 model companies in Brazil featured in the 2010 Sustainability Guide published by Exame magazine.

Braskem is awarded as IR website Top 5 in Latin America

Braskem's IR Website was ranked among the five best websites in Latin America and was granted with the Top 5 in Latin America in the 11th edition of the IR Global Rankings, organized by MZ Consult. In this edition of IRGR, 163 companies from 32 countries were ranked.

This achievement ratifies Braskem's commitment to its investors and the market in the utilization of the best communication practices primarily guided by the corporate governance pillars of transparency, access to information and equality.

Deals of the Year

Braskem has been awarded by two dignified financial market publications, Latin Finance and Trade Finance, for having performed two of the best financial negotiations in 2008.

The Deals of the Year - Best Corporate Bond prize, awarded by the Latin Finance, is related to the issuing of a US$ 500 million Eurobond. This financial funding, held in May 2008, repaid an expressive portion of the bridge loan taken for the acquisition of Grupo Ipiranga petrochemical assets, in 2007.

The second prize, Deals of the Year - Best Syndicated Loan, was granted to the company for both publications, Trade Finance and Latin Finance. The prize was due the exports pre payment funding of US$ 725 million, held in October 2008, which was aimed for the completion of the bridge loan lengthening. The conclusion of this financing in the midst of an uncertain economic scenario shows a positive evaluation of the financial market regarding Grupo Ipiranga acquisition, proving its confidence on Braskem's cash generation capacity.

 

Top 5 Award - Financial Information Disclosure

Braskem received the Top 5 in Financial Information Disclosure Best Practices Award conferred by MZ Consult in the 10th Annual IR Global Rankings. A total of 160 companies from 31 countries participated in the award. The IRGR evaluation was focused on the quality of each quarterly financial information and earnings releases, by the analysis of the following "Technical Criterions": operating information, analysis of income, balance sheet and cash flow statements, provision of outlooks, as well as the information disclosure and dissemination channels used by the companies, including investor relations websites.

 
 

Top 5 Award - 5 best Investor Relations websites in Latin America

Braskem Investor Relation website is Top 5 in Latin America, as 2007 IR Global Ranking technical analysis.

The analysis consisted on the evaluation of 70 criterions under 5 categories: content, technology, design and interactivity. The evaluation process is done by MZ Consult and reviewed by an independent technical committee, formed by specialists in audit, corporate governance, the legal area of KPMG Audit, the law firm Linklaters, JP Morgan and Royal IR Magazine.

About the prize, Luis Henrique Valverde, Braskem IR Director has commented "Braskem has sought, since its creation in 2002, to develop a relationship with its investors based on the transparency and timeliness of the information, as well as best practices of corporate governance. The investor relations website is an excellent tool to the communication with this market and, therefore, a constant source of our attention. This placement in the ranking of the IR Global Ranking is an important recognition of the effort that we have been doing to have a modern, agile, and technologically innovative IR website.

Corporate Governance

Braskem was select by the Governance Metrics International Agency (GMI), as one of the two companies with the highest corporate governance rating between the Brazilian companies.

Investor Relations Award

In 2005, Braskem was granted with the Best Investor Relations Development award of the IR Magazine, the most important international investor relations publication. In addition to IR Magazine, PR Newswire, Revista RI and the IBRI (Brazilian Institute for Investor Relations) also participated in the promotion of the award.

The award, named IR Magazine Awards Brasil 2005, held for the first time in that year celebrates the excellence of the companies' communication with shareholders and investor relations practices in Brazil.

The nominees were elected among the best IR professionals and companies in several categories through independent research carried out by the Brazilian Institute of Economy of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Braskem was nominated in three of the award's eleven categories.

Paul Altit - IR Professional

On December 17, 2004, the investor relations area received the "Quality Award", granted by APICMEC-SP in recognition of the best presentation in the year.

The choice of the winner took into consideration both the form and the content of the meeting. The criteria included clarity, briefing on the company's structure and the evaluation following the meeting, in which analysts compare the meeting with the Company's developments in that period.

In November 2004, Paul Altit was granted by ABAMEC-RJ with the best investor relations professional award.

International recognition came with the Euromoney magazine award, when Braskem was elected the best Latin American company of the year in the category "Financial Market Corporate Borrower". The evidence that the financial market has a positive view of Braskem came through the research carried out by the specialized magazine Latin-Finance with fund managers, analysts, and executives of financial institutions and major companies. According to the research, Paul Altit was the third top of mind CFO (Chief Financial Officer) in Latin America and the first in Brazil.

Braskem wins the "Destaques Cias Abertas" Award (Outstanding Public Companies Award)

Braskem was one of the ten winners of the "Destaques Cias Abertas" Award among the 149 participants, including public companies from eight different industries. This is the fifth edition of this award, promoted by the Estado Group.

The award objective is to spotlight the companies with good performances in the capital market from the investor's point of view. "Winners have the best results in items that affect shareholders' day-to-day life", explains Fernando Exel, Economática's CEO.

The Agência Estado/Economática Ranking evaluated seven criteria: price/earnings, price/equity value of shares, fluctuation, liquidity, volatility, dividends/equity value and return on shareholders' equity.

For José Carlos Grubisich, Braskem's CEO, the relationship with the Company's investors, always underlined by transparency, has been essential for the achievement of this result. "We adopt a policy of predictability, transparency and responsibility to shareholders", he explains.

The winning companies are: Braskem, Copesul, Randon, Belgo-Mineira, Vale do Rio Doce, CCR, Itaú, Perdigão, Fosfértil and Telesp.
